ENVELOPE ME

March 14, 2011 - Des Moines, IA - I received an email this morning that Envelopes.com has a new Wedding Shop. Envelopes.com (formerly Action Envelope) has been a long time favorite of mine when it comes to purchasing bulk invitation supplies. They have the best envelope and paper selections and prices on the internet.

Now it looks like they are organizing their site so it's even better suited for the bride-to-be. In their Wedding Shop they have pre-selected paper products that reflect traditional wedding stationary, so it's easier to browse and know what sizes and style to choose.

But if none of those tickle your fancy, the entire website has an overwhelming amount of choices, with over 100 colors in multiple weigts and finishes. Including the gorgous metallic paper that people loves these days.

I have ordered from them many times and have always been impressed. I always try shopping around just in case I find a better price else-where but usually end up coming right back to Envelopes.com. I could stare at their paper choices for daaaaaays. I'm like a kid in a candy store, I mean there's like 12 different shades of green! My eyes get big and my mouth starts watering... YUM! Oh, and then I remember I'm looking at paper and not sweets.

I did a little fiddling around on their site and priced out a could-be wedding invitation set. I put in my cart:

100 A7 flat cards in deep purple for a card backing

100 cards in natural paper to paste in front of backing

100 A7 emerald metallic envelopes

100 RSVP postcards in natural paper

I priced it out and with all the above the printing included, the cost is about $200 dollars. You can upload your own design or design it on the internet. It's a flexible option that allows you to DIY your own invites with a personal and professional flare. It's a step above the pre-made options from the big box stores but still affordable compared to a graphic designer.
