Shipping Policy

There are 3 different types of orders at Action Envelope: plain orders, printed envelope orders, and orders for samples. There are details relating to each type of order below:

Plain Orders

95% of plain orders ship the same or next business day. We do not guarantee same day shipping, but we try very hard!

If an item is backordered, and we can't ship your order for more than 3 business days, we will notify you. Also, if you must have your order by a certain date, please let us know, so we can manage your order properly.

We process and ship orders Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM ET. Orders placed outside of these hours will not be processed until the next business day. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. If you place your order after 5:00pm on Friday, your order will not be processed until Monday.

If you order has been processed for shipping, or has shipped, we can not cancel your order. You can refuse the delivery, and your order will be subject to our return policy.

If we have a problem getting an authorization on your credit card for any reason, your order will not progress until we do. We will contact you ASAP to discuss how to proceed.

Printed Envelopes

After you have approved your proof and production is complete, remember that shipping transit time is additional, and will take from 1-5 business days from the time your order leaves Action Envelope to be delivered to you. You can select Ground or a faster shipping method on the checkout page. Once your proof is approved, total processing, production and delivery time for printed orders can be as fast as 3 business days or as long as 11 business days depending on your production time, shipping method, and delivery location. Sample Orders

Orders for samples are processed and mailed via the US Postal Service with first class postage within 3-5 business days. They do not have a tracking number. For more details visit our samples policy.

Shipping Information

Our shipping carrier choices for plain and printed envelopes order are USPS and UPS. Standard UPS shipments will only be delivered Monday to Friday. UPS Saturday Delivery is only available for Next Day and Second Day Air shipments for $20.00 additional per package. To arrange for Saturday delivery you must contact customer service, and we will update your order. Saturday Delivery is not available for all addresses. Samples are mailed via the US Postal Service. If you want to get a Saturday delivery, USPS Priority Mail may be your best option. Call customer service to discuss your options.

Shipping Methods

USPS Priority Mail: Your order will be delivered within 1-3 business days after the order leaves an Action Envelope facility, not counting the ship date and not including Sunday, or USPS Holidays. Package arrives before end of day along with your normal mail delivery Monday through Saturday. This is your best choice for residential deliveries.

UPS Ground: Your order will be delivered within 1-5 business days after the order leaves an Action Envelope facility, not counting the ship date and not including Saturday and Sunday, or UPS Holidays. Package arrives before end of day. We ship from multiple locations.

UPS 3 Day Select: Your order will be delivered 3 business days after the order leaves Action Envelope, not counting the ship date and not including Saturday and Sunday, or UPS Holidays. Package usually arrives by end of day.

1. Ship 3 Day Select Monday, Delivered Thursday by end of day.
2. Ship 3 Day Select Tuesday, Delivered Friday by end of day.
3. Ship 3 Day Select Wednesday, Delivered Monday by end of day.
4. Ship 3 Day Select Thursday, Delivered Tuesday by end of day.
5. Ship 3 Day Select Friday, Delivered Wednesday by end of day.

UPS Second Day Air: Your order will be delivered 2 business days after the order leaves Action Envelope, not counting the ship date and not including Saturday and Sunday, or UPS Holidays. Package usually arrives before end of day. Saturday delivery is available for an additional $20.00 per package.

1. Ship Monday Second Day Air, Delivered Wednesday by end of day.
2. Ship Tuesday Second Day Air, Delivered Thursday by end of day.
3. Ship Wednesday Second Day Air, Delivered Friday by end of day.
4. Ship Thursday Second Day Air, Delivered Monday by end of day.
5. Ship Thursday w/ Saturday Delivery, delivered Saturday by end of day.
6. Ship Friday Second Day Air, Delivered Tuesday by end of day.

UPS Next Day Air: Your order will be delivered the next business day after the order leaves Action Envelope, not counting the ship date and not including Saturday and Sunday, or UPS Holidays. Package usually arrives before 10:30AM. Saturday delivery is available for an additional $20.00 per package.

6. Ship Friday Next Day Air w/Saturday Delivery, delivered Saturday by 1:30PM.

If you would like to place a UPS shipping charge that is over $25.00 on your own UPS account, you can supply the number in the comments box on the checkout page. We do not accept customers' account for sample orders. The shipping charge will show on your order confirmation, but we will remove the shipping cost before charging your credit card.

All orders shipped to a NY address will be charged the appropriate state sales tax.
