100% Wind Power - Clean & Sustainable
We are proud to offset 100% of our electrical consumption with 100% Green-e® Certified Wind Power. Through the purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), we are doing our part for the environment by funding wind farms and offsetting our carbon footprint by indirectly eliminating 236,753 pounds of carbon dioxide pollution.
A green power purchase helps accelerate the development of new, domestic renewable energy sources, while playing an important role in the security of America's energy supply. The EPA's Green Power Partnership is a voluntary program helping to increase the use of green power among leading U.S. organizations. Organizations are encouraged to purchase green power as a way to reduce the environmental impacts associated with conventional electricity use.
100% Green Power Purchaser list represents those organizations that are buying green power to meet 100 percent of their U.S. organization-wide electricity use. The combined green power purchases of these organizations amounts to more than 4.2 billion kilowatt-hours of green power annually, which is the equivalent amount of electricity needed to power more than 441,000 average American homes each year.
